The Keyham Community Sparks Showcase Event

On Wednesday, 23 March residents will be able to find out more about the good work of the 37 projects funded by the Sparks grant.

Over the past few weeks many individuals, groups and organisations have been busy delivering projects aimed at improving the areas and building a stronger and more resilient Keyham and Ford.

These projects have been made possible by the Sparks funding – part of the Safer Keyham grant from the Home Office.

The Keyham Community Sparks Showcase Event will take place between 6pm – 7.30pm at Gaynor Hall which is found between Ocean Street and Renown Street.

All are welcome to see demonstrations, presentations and displays from the successful groups and you can also find out about the many new projects which have received funding as part of the second round of grants.

You will also be able to learn how your ideas to help the area can become a reality through the grants scheme.

Please be aware that Covid-19 control measures will be in place. Outdoor spaces will be utilised so wrap up warm. Please do not attend if you have any Covid symptoms and take a test beforehand.

This is a Community Voices event organised by Plymouth City Council and POP (Plymouth Octopus Project). The first round of grants was funded from the Home Office’s Safer Keyham grant and the Department for Education while the second round is funded by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) for Devon and Cornwall.
