Wolseley Trust Wellbeing Services

There are a number of services available through the Wolseley Trust. See below for more information. 

Healthy Futures Social Prescribing Service – contact: 01752 203673 

The service is commissioned directly by Primary Care and delivered within 33 GP practices across Plymouth. Staff members are currently supporting individuals who have been directly impacted by the Keyham tragedy and who have accessed the service via their GP. However, people can self refer. This service is underpinned by an active network of more than 500 city wide voluntary, community and social enterprises and agency services delivering social prescription offers in communities. 

 

Healthy Futures Counselling Service – contact: Rowena Slater 01752 203670 

A free service to those in the trust’s area of benefit. Their counselling co-ordinator is currently supporting five individuals who have been directly impacted by the Keyham tragedy.  

Healthy Futures Employability Support Service – contact: Julie Heath 01752 203670 

A new service which is based in the wellbeing hub and initially established as a local response to the economic impact of the pandemic and the looming unemployment and associated mental health crisis. 

Wolseley Trust Activ8 and Ford Youth and Community Gym – contact: Brydie Bruce 01752 607449 

A community gym located in the trust’s business park Ford. Currently managed in partnership with Mindset CIC. Also delivers a youth martial arts programme.
